So… I did it again. Once again, I’m new in town.
I changed countries. I got a job at a school and moved somewhere where volcanoes erupt and set the sky on fire.
It’s different. I’m doing enrichment for gifted kids.
There’s not an IEP in sight. Most people don’t speak English. There’s a rumor that some kids come to school by helicopter.
And I’m learning that State Department warnings are political. I’d always suspected to a certain point, but now I know it to be true.
Especially now.
I’m settling in and getting ready to write again.
